My story
ThinkBigFitness was born from something deeply personal.
Years ago, I suffered a serious knee injury and broke my kneecap. What followed was a challenging period of recovery that taught me firsthand how quickly movement can be taken away and how much we take our mobility for granted until it's gone.
That experience changed the way I viewed health, fitness, and the human body forever.
I realised that strength isn't just about how much weight you can lift. It's about having the freedom to move without fear, to stay active, and to continue doing the things you love.
As I rebuilt my own body, I became fascinated by mobility, movement, strength, rehabilitation, and the incredible ability of the body to adapt and recover when given the right guidance.
My passion grew even stronger as I watched older members of my own family face the challenges that often come with aging—stiffness, pain, reduced mobility, loss of confidence, and the fear of becoming dependent on others.
I saw how these struggles affected not only their physical health but also their happiness, independence, and quality of life.
That is why I dedicated my career to helping people move better.
Over the last decade, working in some of London's leading boutique fitness clubs and now serving clients in Edinburgh, I have had the privilege of helping people from all walks of life overcome physical limitations and rediscover confidence in their bodies.
I have worked with clients managing arthritis, chronic pain, poor posture, reduced mobility, balance issues, and recovery following injury and stroke. I have helped individuals who thought their best years were behind them regain strength, improve movement, stand taller, walk with confidence, and return to activities they never thought possible again.
What inspires me most is seeing someone realise they are capable of more than they believed.
The moment a client climbs stairs without discomfort, gets up from the floor with ease, walks further than they have in years, or simply feels confident in their body again—that is why I do what I do.
My approach combines mobility training, strength development, posture improvement, functional movement, and healthy aging principles to help people build a body that supports them for life.
I don't believe aging should mean accepting weakness, stiffness, or loss of independence as your future.
I believe that with the right training, support, and consistency, you can continue to grow stronger, move better, and enjoy an active life at any age.
Today, my mission through ThinkBigFitness is simple:
To help adults over 50 stay strong, mobile, confident, and independent for as long as possible.
Because movement is more than exercise.
Movement is freedom.
Movement is confidence.
Movement is independence.
And everyone deserves to experience that at every stage of life.
