Luigi Montanez

For more than 10 years, I have dedicated my career to helping people move better, feel stronger, and achieve their full physical potential. My journey began in London, where I worked at one of the city's leading boutique fitness clubs, coaching a diverse range of clients and learning from some of the industry's most respected professionals. During that time, I developed a deep understanding of mobility, strength training, movement quality, and long-term health. Today, based in Edinburgh, I have made it my mission to help adults over 50 stay strong, mobile, and independent as they age. Throughout my career, I have mentored and coached countless individuals to become the strongest, healthiest, and most confident versions of themselves. I've seen first hand how improved mobility and strength can transform not only how people move, but how they live. My approach is simple: effective, science-based training that focuses on real-life results. Whether it's climbing stairs with confidence, carrying groceries with ease, playing with grandchildren, traveling comfortably, or simply maintaining independence, every exercise has a purpose. I believe that aging should never mean giving up the activities you love. With the right guidance, consistency, and training, it is possible to build strength, improve mobility, and enjoy an active, fulfilling life at any age. My goal is to provide you with the knowledge, support, and proven methods that will help you move with confidence, maintain your independence, and continue doing the things that matter most. Because staying active isn't just about adding years to your life—it's about adding life to your years.

I have an honest and direct style of coaching inspired by my background in Social Sciences, my great teachers and mentors, personal life experience and mindfulness which allows me to challenge and guide clients while relating to their struggles.

Rather that dwelling on calories, carbohydrates, fats and proteins and creating restrictions we coach our clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together.
